Buenos Aires, Argentina, June 30, 2009.  The management of Petrobras Energía Participaciones S.A. (NYSE: PZE) (“Petrobras Energía Participaciones”) and Petrobras Energía S.A. (“Petrobras Energía”) announced today that on June 30, 2009 Petrobras Energía Participaciones and Petrobras Energía filed their combined annual report on Form 20-F for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2008 (the “2008 Annual Report”) with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”).
