Deutsche Telekom reduced its holding in T-Online International

As part of its debt reduction strategy, Deutsche Telekom AG has reduced the size of its holding in T-Online International AG from 81.7% to 71.9% as of December 2, 2002 for proceeds of approximately EUR 732 million in cash (before underwriting fees and concessions).  Deutsche Telekom remains committed to its four-pillar business strategy, which includes T-Online International AG.
