FORDING PROVIDES NOTICE OF RELEASE OF
FINANCIAL RESULTS AND CONFERENCE CALL
CALGARY, July 7, 2004 – Fording Canadian Coal Trust (TSX: FDG.UN, NYSE: FDG) will release its 2004 second quarter results on Monday, July 26, 2004.
Mr. Jim Popowich, President of Fording Canadian Coal Trust, will host a conference call with the investment community to discuss the results on Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at 8:00 a.m. Mountain time, 10:00 a.m. Eastern time. The media are invited to participate in a listen-only mode.
