Santiago, Chile, December 20, 2018 –Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile S.A. (SQM) (NYSE: SQM; Santiago Stock Exchange: SQM-B, SQM-A) received a letter from the Santiago Stock Exchange (“Bolsa de Comercio de Santiago”) today, requesting that SQM inform it about any special circumstances or relevant events that may explain the 9.35% decrease in SQM’s series B share price today, with respect to the closing price as of Wednesday, December 19, 2018.

 

With respect to this matter, we can inform you that we are not aware of any fact or event that could explain the variation in the share price.
