Item 12. Results of Operations and Financial Condition
On August 17, 2004, Wind River Systems, Inc. (the “Registrant”) issued a press release announcing its financial results for the three months ended July 31, 2004. The press release did not include certain other financial information that will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission as part of the Registrant’s Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the fiscal quarter ended July 31, 2004. A copy of the press release relating to such announcement, dated August 17, 2004, is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Report and is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
