Item 8.01. Other Events

On October 14, 2015, the European Commission granted unconditional regulatory clearance of the previously announced proposed acquisition of Altera Corporation by Intel Corporation. The regulatory clearance by the European Commission satisfies one of the conditions to closing the acquisition. The acquisition remains subject to other customary closing conditions, including other regulatory clearances.
