On February 13, 2006, as part of its press release announcing the settlement rate for the purchase contracts that are a component of its 8.0% corporate units, FPL Group, Inc. reaffirmed its 2006 adjusted earnings expectations of $2.80 to $2.90 per share.  A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99, which is incorporated by reference.
