On May 10, 2013, Sterling Financial Corporation’s principal operating subsidiary, Sterling Savings Bank, completed the acquisition of the Seattle area operations of Boston Private Bank & Trust Company (the “Transaction”). The full text of a press release announcing the completion of the Transaction issued on May 13, 2013 is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
