Explanatory Note: This Form 8-K/A report is filed as an amendment to the Form 8-K Current Report
filed by eResearchTechnology, Inc. on February 26, 2008 to correct the press release filed
therewith as Exhibit 99.1.
ITEM 2.02 RESULTS OF OPERATIONS AND FINANCIAL CONDITION.
On February 26, 2008, eResearchTechnology, Inc. issued a press release reporting its results of
operations for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2007 and providing financial guidance for
both the first quarter of and full year 2008. That press release contained an incorrect telephone
number to access a playback of the conference call that was held on February 26, 2008 when calling
within the United States. The correct numbers to listen to the playback are 888-286-8010 when
calling within the United States or 617-801-6888 when calling internationally, and the pass code is
46120621. On February 27, 2008, the Company issued a corrected version of the press release that
is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
