                NOT INVOLVED IN THE DIAMOND WELL CONTROL INCIDENT

Precision Drilling Corporation ("Precision") would like to clarify the report
surrounding the accident relating to the Diamond Well Control incident near
Kelly Lake, south of Dawson Creek, B.C. It has been reported using the
"Precision" name in the news reports and we would like to make it clear that
Precision Drilling Corporation nor any of its associated companies, were
involved in this incident.
