LONDON, June 8 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 index is seen opening down 17-29 points, or 0.5 percent on Wednesday, according to financial bookmakers, tracking falls in Asia after a late downturn on Wall Street following cautious comments from U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke.
