Wells Fargo Investment Professionals to Talk Risk at Industry Retirement Conference

Investment professionals representing Wells Fargo Advantage Funds are slated to present at a national conference for retirement plan specialists. The Center for Due Diligence 2013 Advisor Conference, to be held October 7-9 in San Antonio, will focus on “Identifying and managing retirement plan risk: Successful strategies for advisors, sponsors and participants.”

On the afternoon of October 7, portfolio manager Jim Lauder, will discuss the controllable and non-controllable dynamics that can negatively impact a potentially successful retirement investing outcome. He’ll examine investor behavior, as well as the dangers of chasing strong returns and not remaining invested through full-market cycles.

Wells Fargo Funds Management Group’s Chief Portfolio Strategist, Brian Jacobsen, is the featured keynote speaker on October 8. He will discuss a new way of thinking about how to manage risk in Defined Contribution plans. The approach embraces risk as an opportunity.
