On Saturday, July 19th 2014, YooMee actively supported TEDx Abidjan, one of the world's most prestigious conferences, organized for the first time in Ivory Coast. TEDx allows people who are emerging in their fields to share their expertise and visions with the public in order to advance the world.
This first edition focused on the theme: "A Journey to the Future: Abidjan 2057."
YooMee, operational in Abidjan for five months, sponsored this event as an innovator and pioneer of next-generation internet access technology.
Digital content and video like TEDx have a major impact on the economic development of a society. YooMee provides the necessary high speed Internet and enables the participant to share their message with any person that can access the internet. The conference, which brought together more than 300 people, included great leaders from different sectors such as: Mrs. IRIE Lou Colette, President of the National Federation for Associations in the Food Production sector in Ivory Coast; Mr. Cédric LOMBARDO, specializing in Ecology and Corporate Social Responsibility; Mr. Abdel Aziz THIAM, Chairman of the Board of Directors of NECOTRANS; and many more.
As a first edition, it was a success. The next TEDx is coming soon.
