Two French Journalists Arrested Over Alleged Blackmail Against King Mohammed VI

French journalists, Eric Laurent and Catherine Graciet were arrested, on Thursday, August 27 ,  in Paris by French police under charges of attempted blackmail against Moroccan King Mohammed VI.


 


In an interview with French TV channel LCI, King Mohammed VI’s lawyer, Eric Dupont-Moretti said that Eric Laurent had contacted the Royal Office to announce that he is about to publish, along with Catherine Graciet, a book on Morocco and that he is ready to give it up for the sum of three million euros.
