This powerful docudrama follows the stories of six special operations soldiers as they engage in combat and return home to their families. This film will be shown on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 7:30 to 9 PM EDT to commemorate the events that kicked off the longest war in America's history.

What makes the men in the film special is they have each been broken at some point in their life. However, they have overcome things such as drugs, anger, poverty, and fear to become the men they are today. On September 11, 2001, Al-Qaeda carried out four coordinated attacks on America. These attacks led to the deaths of 2,996 individuals, injured more than 6,000 others, and left behind billions of dollars in property and infrastructure damage. Furthermore, additional people have died as a result of the diseases they contracted while dealing with the aftermath of the attacks. Every American was changed on that day, as the attacks were not something they ever thought they would see within the borders of the country.
"The tragedy of 9/11 brought Americans together in numerous ways. People were drawn to their faith and to each other. However, this was only the beginning of a long journey for those who offered to protect our homeland and our citizens. The film captures the stories of six of these men in a way that viewers won't forget," Friedman continues.
Churches wishing to share the stories of these men may do so easily. Between September 11 and 16, 2018, churches may enjoy a 75-minute simulcast of the film "Surrender Only to One" (https://www.sofmissions.com/patriotdaytampa/) along with special features and guests. The film is being offered for six days to ensure every church wishing to take part has the opportunity to do so. There is no fee to take part. However, SOF Missions does ask that an offering is taken during the event to support the warriors who have served so bravely on America's behalf. Fifty percent of this offering goes to SOF Missions and the other 50 percent is kept by the church to help soldiers and their families in the area around the church.
"Any church taking part in the simulcast will receive resources to help transform the event into a discipleship experience. This includes an event guide and a discussion guide to facilitate conversations and allow people to dig deeper into the topic.
