The Big Ten Conference has appointed Omar Brown as Chief People & Culture Officer. Hanold Associates’ Jason Hanold and Lisa Butkus led the search for this Chicago area-based role.

Omar Brown comes to Big Ten from Deloitte where, as a member of the Organization Transformation practice, he led organizational change and improvement for client companies. He will oversee all aspects of the people function and human capital aspects of the organization. Reporting directly to the Commissioner of the Big Ten Conference, Kevin Warren, Omar will partner on all people and culture strategies, shaping the broader organization to be more agile and efficient as it evolves. This key leadership role will have a profound impact on the cornerstone goals of Big Ten: empowering athletes, winning the hearts of fans, creating a stable financial position and building relationships with Big Ten constituents.
