Kaplan Performance Academy Launches New Development Programs to Address 2021 Critical Workforce Challenges

To address the critical workforce challenges created by the pandemic, Kaplan, Inc., a global leader in online education, has launched two new development programs on its Kaplan Performance Academy (KPA) corporate training platform, focused on providing newly hired employees and leaders with the unique skills and support necessary to successfully compete in the new economy.

Kaplan 21: The Confident New Hire and The Resilient Leader training programs on KPA are designed to help tackle four issues facing organizations accelerated by a pandemic-driven remote workforce and changing commercial landscape: disruption across the business; digital dilemmas that affect process, collaboration, and managing information; disengagement of employees from a loss of shared purpose and teamwork; and diversity and inclusion to enable businesses to excel in a global marketplace.

Andrew Perkins, KPA Global Director, said, “We have been listening to business leaders and these programs have been designed to meet their urgent needs. The effects of the global crisis have accelerated the need for new workplace skills for our clients to attract and retain their best and brightest, re-engage their workforce, and regain their competitive advantage. Particularly vulnerable are new hires entering an evolving workplace. Managers will also have had to adapt to a challenging digital way of working to lead and inspire their teams.”

Kaplan 21: The Confident New Hire program is designed for new recruits who need to understand and navigate an unfamiliar environment and transition successfully to a new working environment. With gritty examples and honest guidance, this new employee onboarding program develops confidence for recently hired team members to hit the ground running.

Kaplan 21: The Resilient Leader prepares managers to effectively lead their teams in a virtual environment. The program helps managers deliver results by making meaningful connections, inspiring trust, confronting change with confidence, taking advantage of disruption.

Kaplan Performance Academy is Kaplan's digital environment that delivers a powerful combination of asynchronous and live learning, coaching, and assessment to create a holistic developmental experience. KPA features a global network of accredited coaches, mentors, and subject matter experts to support individuals in their professional development, creating business impact to make a sustainable difference in the workplace.
