Because of their scratch-made baked goods, which are based on treasured family recipes, the Bishops have been keeping that old-time nostalgia alive since 1973, including pumpkin-apple muffins and chocolate chip cookies. The Cider Mill offers warm apple cider and Slushshakies, which are made with layers of apple cider slush and vanilla ice cream, and then topped with whipped cream, caramel, sprinkles, and a small caramel apple to Satisfy your sweet tooth.

Enjoy sandwiches made with house-smoked grilled tri-tip and pulled pig, as well as pints of “Bishop’s Other Cider,” homebrew made by the Bishop family. Two new rides are an aerial crop-duster and a themed tractor ride in which guests follow the story of Mrs. Bishop as she searches for Farmer Bill in various locations of the farm, such as the pigpen and chicken coop. Going into the season, Dennis Bastiao, the proprietor of Goblin Gardens Pumpkin Patch, says his dependable train and hayrides are fully operational and ready for people to enjoy.

He challenges anyone to brave the haunted barn, which is filled with animated spooks and scares that lurk around every corner. The Western Town play area, complete with dusty Wild West cowboys and an ancient schoolhouse complete with vintage desks, provides many opportunities for picture-taking.

Dave’s Sacramento pumpkin patch is a place where you may indulge all of your senses. Upon pulling up to the parking lot, families are greeted with the delicious aroma of freshly baked apple cider doughnuts.

In addition to the giant orange jumping pillow, a hay maze and a massive pyramid, pig races, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty appearances, kid-friendly movies on the weekends, a pumpkin chunkin’ contest, hayrides, and as much barbecue and cotton candy as you can handle are all available at the Carnival play area. Visitors to Dave’s are treated as guests in the family’s very own backyard when they stay at Dave’s.

Rickey Ranch pumpkin patch in Sacramento invites you to celebrate Halloween with the whole family in a fun-filled environment. When the fall season arrives, the public can enjoy pony rides, local honey, the perfect pumpkin pies, farm animals, homemade pies, and tractor-pulled hayrides.

This pumpkin patch in Sacramento is in Granite Bay on the Cavitt Stallman Road and is run by the Rickey Family, whose farm has been in the same family for six generations and has been in operation for more than 150 years.

All of the crops grown at Rickey Ranch are grown using organic agricultural methods, including pumpkins and gourds, fruits and vegetables, honey, livestock, and 20 acres of vineyards. Parking is free, but hayrides are $3, and horse rides are $5.

Dave’s pumpkin patch in Sacramento at Vierra Farms in West Sacramento is widely regarded as one of the region’s largest pumpkin fields, with a total of 2 acres (and a vast variety) of pumpkins to select from.
