Turkey - October 22, 2026 - Steadfastly continuing its global humanitarian aid efforts and establishing an international bridge of compassion, Turk Kizilay (the Turkish Red Crescent) touches the lives of millions of people in need through the generous support of donors. Operating with the dedication and sensitivity of a leading non-governmental organization (NGO), Kizilay continues to offer a lifeline across a wide spectrum of needs, ranging from food security to education, and clean water access to sustainable development projects.
Life-Giving Support in Africa: Water Wells and Emergency Aid
Regions battling severe drought, climate crises, and infrastructure deficits remain at the heart of Kizilay’s global vision. Within the scope of dedicated Africa donation (afrika bagisi) operations, food security initiatives and medical aid shipments to the continent continue at an uninterrupted pace.
Among these initiatives, water well donation (su kuyusu bagisi) projects stand out as one of the most permanent and vital forms of support. The modern water wells opened in villages lacking access to safe water do more than just quench thirst; they prevent the spread of waterborne epidemics, helping thousands of people—especially young children—hold onto life.
Investing in the Future: Educational Aid
Believing that the most sustainable way to break the cycle of poverty is through education, Kizilay actively supports students striving to learn under challenging conditions both locally and internationally. Through ongoing educational aid (egitim yardımı) initiatives, the organization provides school uniforms, stationery kits, technological equipment, and scholarships, paving the way for the leaders, doctors, and teachers of tomorrow.
How You Can Help Supporting Kizilay’s humanitarian operations means easing suffering wherever it exists and sharing in a child's smile or a mother's prayer. You can help multiply the good in the world by contributing to the project of your choice through official donation platforms.
