Sinda Ltd. (NYSE: SIND) (“Sinda” or the “Company”) today announced a new appointment to its Board of Directors and changes to the Executive Leadership Team. Effective October 12, 2026, the size of the Board has been increased to nine members and Alberto Zinser has been appointed to the Board. Additionally, effective October 13, 2026, Scott Cole has been appointed interim Chief Financial Officer, and Alvaro Gomez has been appointed Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Development. Luis Barreto will cease to serve as Chief Financial Officer, also effective October 13, 2026.

Mr. Zinser, a partner at the leading Mexican law firm Zinser, Esponda y Gómez Mont, has advised Sinda and has been a key member of our Advisory Board since 2021. One of Mexico’s most senior and respected legal advisors, Mr. Zinser has spent nearly four decades counseling major U.S. and Mexican companies on complex, high-impact matters — combining deep knowledge of Mexico’s business and regulatory environment with sound strategic judgment.

“We are most gratified to welcome Alberto to our Board,” said Daniel Muñiz, Executive Chairman of Sinda. “His exceptional legal and advisory experience, spanning the U.S. and Mexico, will complement well the extensive and diverse expertise of our existing Board members.”

Scott Cole, Sinda’s Vice President of Finance, has been appointed interim Chief Financial Officer. Since joining Sinda, Mr. Cole has played an important role in strengthening the Company’s finance function and executing key financial and strategic initiatives — including Sinda’s IPO on the NYSE and overall transition to the public markets. Mr. Cole brings more than 30 years of experience across finance, accounting, treasury, and operational finance leadership. Prior to joining Sinda, he held senior corporate finance positions, including at ASARCO–Grupo México and BHP Copper.

The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Alvaro Gomez as Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Development. Mr. Gomez is an accomplished mining executive with broad experience spanning geoscience, finance, investor relations, and corporate development. In this role, Mr. Gomez will lead Sinda’s investor relations program and the evaluation and execution of strategic initiatives.

Mr. Gomez joins Sinda after more than eight years at Newmont Corporation, where he held roles of increasing responsibility across finance, investor relations, and corporate development. Most recently, he served as Chief Advisor to the Chief Financial Officer, supporting Newmont’s global finance function — including investor relations, capital allocation, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Newmont, Mr. Gomez worked as an exploration geologist in Latin America, providing him with a strong technical foundation to complement his considerable financial and strategic expertise.

Daniel Muñiz commented: “Following our successful IPO, Sinda is now entering an exciting new phase in the Company’s growth journey. Scott has already made significant contributions to Sinda, and his appointment as interim Chief Financial Officer represents strict continuity within our management team as we execute on our business plan. We also thank Luis for his distinguished service and wish him well in his future endeavors.

We are also very pleased to welcome Alvaro to the team. His experience in investor relations, finance, and corporate development, together with his geoscience background, make him a valued and timely addition as we advance Sinda and expand our engagement with the broader investment community.”
