SEOUL, South Korea - August 29, 2026 - The Korea National Selection for the 2026 Miss Intercontinental, one of the world’s renowned international beauty pageants, was held on Aug. 27 at JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.
Now in its 54th edition, Miss Intercontinental is an international beauty pageant that brings together contestants from around the world to compete not only in beauty, but also in intelligence, individuality, and global competence. At the Korea National Selection, following a competitive selection and judging process, Kim A-in took first place, Jung Su-min and Ha Yu-jin took second place, and Jang Ji-ye, Lee Yun-ji, and Hwang Ji-hye took third place.
Kim Tae-hyun, a skin stylist and CEO of Oshare Life who participated as a judge, said, “True beauty is not just about outward appearance. I believe it is completed by loving yourself and expressing yourself with confidence.”
Hwang Ji-hye received the special Dr.O Ambassador Award. The award was presented by Dr. Ro Young Woo, CEO of Dr.O and representative director of Oracle Dermatology.
