Onsite windshield replacement in Florida from Same Day Windshields® eliminates the hassle from what can be a stressful experience. Our mobile technicians have expertise in how to replace windshields in virtually any vehicle, providing you with the peace of mind that comes from knowing your vehicle's repair is in good hands.
The last thing you need to worry about when dealing with a vehicle that is unsafe to drive is the hassle of getting it to a shop and waiting for an appointment. You can depend on our onsite windshield replacement specialists to come to your vehicle's location as long as it is out of traffic and in a safe place.
That means no towing expense, no wasting time sitting in a repair shop, and direct communication with your installer to confirm your appointment time. We offer flexible morning and afternoon arrival windows throughout our service areas in Florida so you don't have to wait around all day for some vague appointment.
Insurance treatment of onsite windshield replacement
Insurance can be your friend in Florida when it comes to onsite windshield replacement, particularly for glass-only claims that do not include body damage. You may pay as little as zero out of pocket for onsite windshield replacement if you carry full coverage (comprehensive) insurance, depending on your specific policy language.
Florida state statute 627.7288 pertains to any policy issued or delivered in Florida by an authorized insurer. It requires insurers to waive the deductible for glass-only damage to your windshield. (The statute does not apply to other windows in your vehicle.) Our friendly customer service representatives have the knowledge to help you maximize your insurance coverage, further reducing the aggravation of repairing your windshield.
As an added benefit, our onsite windshield replacement service includes calibrating your vehicle's Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and returning it to safe operating condition from our partners at Same Day Calibrations. Out-of-pocket costs for this service also are waived thanks to the same state statute that requires insurers to waive the deductible for glass-only damage to your windshield.
