ENTRY INTO A MATERIAL DEFINITIVE AGREEMENT On March 1, 2006, the registrant, Consumer Portfolio Services, Inc., acting pursuant to authorization of the compensation committee of its board of directors, fixed the amounts of cash bonuses to be paid with respect to services rendered by its officers during 2005.
