Item 8.01 Other Events
On June 29, 2011, Royal Gold, Inc. completed the purchase of 1,019,000 common shares of Seabridge Gold, Inc. in a private placement for C$30 million at a per share price equal to C$29.44. Royal Gold first announced the transaction in a press release on June 16, 2011, and filed a Form 8-K on June 22, 2011, describing the terms of the transaction.
