Notification of Interests of Directors
The Company was informed on 8th July 2004 by Mr Ian Gowrie-Smith, Non-executive Chairman of SkyePharma PLC, that on 7th July 2004 2,000,000 Ordinary Shares registered in the name of Pellinore Holdings Limited, in which he had a beneficial interest, were sold at a price of 62.0 pence per share. As a result of the transaction Mr Gowrie-Smith now has a beneficial interest in 6,539,665 Ordinary Shares in the Company.
