Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(b) On January 17, 2008, Rana Talwar notified the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Schlumberger Limited (the “Company”) of his decision not to stand for re-election to the Board of Directors at the Company’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders in 2008, due to job-related commitments. Mr. Talwar will continue to serve as a director of the Company until the 2008 Annual Meeting of Shareholders, which is currently expected to be held in April of 2008.
