Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On April 20, 2016, Phil Petrilli, the Executive Vice President of Operations of Noodles & Company (the “Company”), announced that he is resigning from his position for personal reasons. Mr. Petrilli has agreed to assist the Company in matters relating to his function while the Company searches for his successor. The Company is commencing a search to consider both internal and external candidates to fill Mr. Petrilli’s position.
