Results of Operations and Financial Condition
On February 6, 2012, the Company reported net losses of $28.8 million, or $0.58 per diluted share, for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2011, as compared with net earnings of $15.2 million, or $0.31 per diluted share, for the fourth quarter of 2010. Net sales for the fourth quarter decreased to $252.7 million from $260.2 million in 2010.
The Company also reported net losses of $21.7 million, or $0.44 per diluted share, for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2011, as compared with net earnings of $36.8 million, or $0.75 per diluted share, for the 2010 fiscal year.
