Item 8.01.
Other Events
On August 13, 2014, Wausau Paper Mills, LLC, a subsidiary of Wausau Paper Corp. (“Wausau Paper”), finalized the sale of certain real estate and personal property assets located in Brainerd, Minnesota to Brainerd Industrial Center, LLC, a subsidiary of Higgins and Associates, Inc. Higgins acquires, manages, and sells for final disposition idle industrial property and assets. Wausau Paper had permanently shut down the Brainerd facility in 2013, and realized net sale proceeds of approximately $4.5 million in connection with the transaction.
