Item 8.01.  Other Events.
            ------------

            On  September 1, 2005,  Lone Star  Steakhouse  & Saloon,  Inc.  (the
"Company")  issued a press release  announcing that the Company will donate 100%
of the  day's  sales on this  Labor  Day,  September  5,  2005,  from all of its
restaurant  brands,  Lone Star  Steakhouse & Saloon,  Del Frisco's  Double Eagle
Steak House,  Sullivan's  Steakhouse,  Texas Land & Cattle and Frankie's Italian
Grille to the American Red Cross. The press release is being filed as an exhibit
to this Form 8-K.
