Item 8.01. Other Events.

Arizona Public Service Company (“APS”) General Rate Case — Power Supply Adjustor (“PSA”)

     On December 8, 2006, the Arizona Corporation Commission approved APS’ request to continue the interim PSA adjustor until rates become effective as a result of APS’ pending general rate case. For additional information about the general rate case, the PSA, and the interim PSA adjustor, see “APS General Rate Case” in Note 5 of Notes to Condensed Consolidated Financial Statements in the Pinnacle West Capital Corporation/APS Report on Form 10-Q for the fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2006.
