Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 11, 2006, Genta Incorporated (NASDAQ: GNTA), the “Company”, issued a press release announcing the presentation of data that review the impact of computed tomographic (CT) scans in clinical trials of patients with relapsed or refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). In addition, on this date, the Company announced the presentation of data that support major objective response as a key endpoint for clinical trials in patients with relapsed or refractory CLL.
