About the Author

Enza Maia-Cottone is a Sicilian-American author, mother, and transformational teacher. She shared a legendary love story with her late husband, Santo, rooted in humor, faith, and deep family tradition in Queens, New York, where they raised two sons who became the center of their world.

When Santo died suddenly in 2022, Enza’s life collapsed overnight. Seeking space to breathe through her grief, she left New York for Florida. What began as an attempt to escape the pain became the place where grief transformed her. In that quiet year, she began writing what would become Life After His Death. At first, it was survival. Over time, it became purpose.

That writing ignited the YOU Matter Series™ and the YOU Matter Movement™, expanding Enza’s work beyond her own story and into collective healing.

Enza is also the founder of the Cottone Foundation, a nonprofit originally created to feed the homeless and support families in need. The Foundation has since expanded to include widow support through a dedicated Widows Resource Page, offering practical tools, encouragement, and connection for those navigating life after loss.
