The NHL Hockey organization pledges $1 for each Halloween card sent to CHLA patients by October 30

Excitement is building at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) as it kicks off its beloved Halloween greeting card drive. Supporters from the local community, across the country, and around the world are invited to take part in the hospital’s annual Halloween tradition and spread spooky cheer to patients by going to CHLA.org/Halloween.

Participants can choose from three ready-to-color animal designs (a giraffe, a peacock, or an elephant) and write a personal message of encouragement. To magnify the community’s impact, longtime CHLA supporter the LA Kings have pledged to donate $1 for every card sent by Oct. 30, up to a total of $50,000.

CHLA’s Child Life team will print the completed cards and hand-deliver them to patients, along with fun goodie bags. Patients will also get to celebrate the season with a variety of activities at the hospital’s annual Pumpkin Party, featuring festive games, arts and crafts, and costumes.
