Omnia Wellness Center opened in Encino in August 2026, adding a nurse-founded clinic that offers laser, IV hydration and hormone therapy services to the area. The center marked its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Aug. 15 attended by neighbors, healthcare professionals, family members and local supporters.
The new clinic was founded by two nurses who each hold a Master of Science in Nursing. Yaroslava Markov, a board-certified family nurse practitioner, serves as founder, and Yazmin Islas, a registered nurse, serves as co-founder. Services now available at the center include Fotona laser treatments, IV hydration therapy, cosmetic injectables and hormone replacement therapy for women and men. The center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday by appointment.
"Opening the center is the start of a long-term commitment to this community," said Yaroslava Markov, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, the center's founder. "The team's focus now is on building a practice grounded in clinical standards, careful consultation and clear communication with every patient."
Markov brings more than 10 years of hospital-based healthcare experience, according to the center. Islas has more than 26 years of healthcare experience and began working in medical aesthetics in 2004. She previously founded Be Fit Worldwide, a fitness and lifestyle coaching program for military spouses. Together, the founders bring more than 30 years of combined healthcare experience to the new practice.
The center is a certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise, a designation verified by The Supplier Clearinghouse. The Supplier Clearinghouse administers the supplier diversity certification program used by utilities regulated by the California Public Utilities Commission, reviewing documentation of ownership and control before granting the designation. The certification recognizes that the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by women.
"Getting the doors open took the work of many people," said Yazmin Islas, MSN, RN, the center's co-founder. "Now the priority is earning the community's confidence one appointment at a time and growing the team carefully."
The center's laser services use equipment made by Fotona, a manufacturer of medical and aesthetic laser systems. According to the center's website, the clinic currently lists 18 Fotona laser services and eight IV hydration formulations, along with neurotoxin injections, dermal fillers and biostimulators. Hormone therapy is offered separately for women and for men under the center's longevity medicine program.
In addition to individual appointments, the center offers memberships and gift cards. Appointments can be requested through the center's website or by phone, and the center lists a separate text line on its contact page.
