Former military officer and growth leader to help expand Unissant's defense mission impact

RESTON, VA / ACCESS Newswire / March 26, 2026 / Unissant, Inc. today announced the appointment of Shaun Swartz as Vice President, Defense, where he will lead the company's Department of War growth strategy and help expand Unissant's support for defense mission organizations.

Swartz brings a combination of military experience, defense mission knowledge, and GovCon leadership to the role. A graduate of the Air Force Academy, University of Maryland, and Duquesne University, Swartz has spent his career working at the intersection of operational mission needs and emerging technologies, helping defense organizations modernize capabilities, strengthen decision advantage, and accelerate technology adoption in complex environments.

At Unissant, Swartz will focus on advancing the company's defense growth strategy, strengthening partnerships across the defense ecosystem, and helping customers move advanced capabilities from pilot efforts to operational, enterprise-scale deployment.

Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Growth at Red Cedar Consultancy. He previously held leadership roles at SAIC and SOSI, where he helped shape growth strategies and capture efforts across defense and federal IT portfolios.
