Reskilling and Upskilling to Top the Agenda in 2022

Governments around the world commit funding to reskilling and upskilling but access to assessment will be the key to success

Over half the global workforce will need reskilling or upskilling by the end of 2022¹, but success can only be achieved if programs meet employee needs, says Questionmark, the leading online assessment provider.

Governments around the world, including those in the US², UK³ and Australia⁴ have announced funding for reskilling and upskilling programs. Making sure training and assessment are widely available will top the skills agenda in 2022.

The key to success will be in how training and assessment are delivered. With the rise of hybrid learning and assessment, providers may find that they must provide in-person, virtual and hybrid options if they are to meet expectations.

This requires a technical foundation, says Questionmark, which is urging providers to ensure that they have a scalable platform in place. The right platform allows for a consistent user experience, whether assessment is in person or online.
