Orangetheory Fitness’ Hell Week Challenge Returns for 2024

Get ready to outrun the undead and crush your fitness goals— Orangetheory’s Hell Week is back, and survival never felt this thrilling!

Orangetheory Fitness (OTF) is once again raising the stakes with its annual Hell Week event, where members will train like the undead are chasing them! This year’s theme, Undead Training Camp, invites participants to rise to the challenge and prepare for the ultimate test of endurance and grit. From Oct. 24-31, 2024, members of all fitness levels will push beyond their comfort zones in eight intense, zombie apocalypse-themed workouts designed to leave them feeling more alive than ever.

Hell Week’s infamous workouts are designed to awaken the inner athlete in every member, pushing them to new limits while cultivating a sense of achievement and camaraderie. Members who successfully complete four of the eight workouts will earn coveted bragging rights, an exclusive Hell Week shirt or tank and a commemorative sticker, acting as a badge of honor for those who survive the week.

Registration is now open and will run through Oct. 28. For a registration fee of $15, members can sign up through the Orangetheory app or in-studio. The challenge is open to all recurring members, package holders and partner members. However, spots are limited, and time is of the essence with zombies lurking.

Each Hell Week workout brings its own twist, with themes like “The High Jump” and “Beast Mode” and “Back With a Vengeance” setting the tone for what participants can expect. Throughout the week, members will encounter unpredictable challenges designed to test their strength, endurance and mental resilience. Only one workout per day will count toward the mission, so participants are encouraged to strategize their path to survival wisely.

“Hell Week is one of our most anticipated events each year as it offers our members an opportunity to push their limits while having fun in a supportive environment. It’s the perfect supercharge to their fall fitness routine that can help carry them through the holidays,” said Rachel Vaziralli, Director of Fitness Design at Orangetheory Fitness. “Although the workouts might sound intense, it’s always ‘you vs. you,’ and participants are encouraged to go at their own pace. With the energy and encouragement from fellow members and coaches, there’s no challenge too great for our community to tackle together.”

Throughout Hell Week, participants can track their progress in real-time via the Orangetheory app, which will log completed workouts as members advance. Each day’s workout will be unveiled in advance, with sneak peeks available in-studio and across Orangetheory’s social media channels.
