Former Placer.ai sales leader brings more than two decades of experience building and scaling enterprise revenue organizations across cybersecurity and technology

Aurascape, the enterprise AI security company, today announced the appointment of Jim Walsh as Chief Revenue Officer. Walsh will lead Aurascape’s global revenue organization, expand customer and partner relationships, and accelerate enterprise adoption of its AI security platform worldwide.

The appointment follows a year of tremendous growth for Aurascape, with revenue growing 59x year over year, driven by demand from Fortune 500 companies and other enterprises in highly regulated industries seeking to embrace AI without exposing sensitive data, introducing new security risks, or slowing innovation. Walsh most recently served as Senior Vice President of Sales at Placer.ai. He previously served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Skycure, led Americas sales at MobileIron, and held sales leadership positions at Symantec and Vontu. During his tenure at MobileIron, Walsh helped grow the company’s revenue organization in the years leading to its initial public offering.
