MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - March 17, 2026 - On the eve of NVIDIA GTC, the Taiwan Demo Day 2026 Spring ignited Silicon Valley, signaling a pivotal shift in the global technology landscape. The showcase featured 12 elite teams hailing from major tech hubs including Taiwan, Silicon Valley, New York, and Seattle. These startups represent the vanguard of the next industrial revolution, spanning critical sectors such as AgenticAI, Robotics, PhysicalAI, Smart Manufacturing, Semiconductor Process Optimization, MedTech, and advanced AI Applications.

Jointly hosted by the Taiwan Next Foundation and Startup Island TAIWAN Silicon Valley Hub, the event successfully drew over 1,000 investors and industry leaders to witness the powerful fusion of "U.S.Innovation + Silicon Valley Capital + Taiwan’s World - Class Tech Supply Chain."

Bridging Capital and Innovation: The Taiwan - U.S. Nexus

“Taiwan Demo Day has reached a historic milestone,” stated Katie Hsieh, Founder of Taiwan Next Foundation. “Taiwan Demo Day reached a new historic peak, drawing over a thousand Silicon Valley investors and startups. It has become not only the most influential startup event leading up to NVIDIA GTC but also a vital nexus bridging the entrepreneurial ecosystems of Taiwan and the United States.” Yu-Li Su, Deputy Director of Startup Island TAIWAN Silicon Valley Hub, affirmed that the SV Hub continues to be a steadfast pillar for Taiwanese founders, accelerating the flow of talent and resources across the Pacific.

The event featured compelling opening remarks from industry luminaries Amanda Liu (Chair, StarFab) and KarenYu (GM, ITIC). The Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) also highlighted how the Taiwan Innovation Board (TIB) is actively streamlining the process for international startups to access Taiwan’s robust capital markets.

Five AI Innovators Capturing Attention

Among the 12 participating teams, five companies garnered significant interest for their unique integration of NVIDIA-accelerated technology with real-world application:

  • Yo-Kai Express (FoodTechRobots):Founded by a former semiconductor engineer and backed by SoftBank, this innovator uses NVIDIA technology to power 24/7 robotic restaurants. Currently deployed at SFO Airport and across Japan, they are integrating Edge AI and LLMs to pioneer the future of automated smart dining.

  • Clarq AI (Kinesiology Intelligence): Led by an MIT PhD and a Pro Bodybuilder/Air Force instructor, Clarq is building foundational models for humanoid robots. By harvesting high-fidelity human force data via smart fitness hardware, they are teaching robots the intricate "muscle science" required for complex physical tasks.

  • Red Bot Intelligence / Redpill (Robotics Learning): Led by a former Walt Disney Imagineer, their Neocore system utilizes markerless AI vision to capture precise worker movements directly on factory floors. This transforms every production line into a critical data hub for training the next generation of general-purpose humanoid robots.

  • 3drens (Agentic AI Logistics): A recognized leader in smart logistics, 3drens is transitioning from cloud-based tracking to Agentic AI co-pilots for sophisticated fleet management. Their platform automates dispatching and decision-making for the circular economy and the rapidly expanding commercial EV sector.

  • CancerFree Biotech (AI for Lab Automation): Backed by Tim Draper, this startup employs "Machine Eyes" and AI Eyewear to automate fragmented lab data. Their platform is poised to help pharmaceutical companies save up to $4.35M in R&D costs while significantly accelerating the delivery of personalized cancer treatments.

A
New Era for the "SiliconShield"

As 30,000 AI experts convene in San Jose for GTC, Taiwan Demo Day provides essential proof that Taiwan’s role is evolving. “Taiwan is no longer defined solely as a hardware provider,” the organizers concluded. “We are now the architects of the global AI software and robotics revolution.”

FullCohort: CancerFree Biotech, 3drens, APAL, Clarq AI, InsForge, DAHUA AI, Yo-Kai Express, Red Bot Intelligence, Fortune AI, Holon Robotics, Tricuss, and DeepRad AI.
