Sean Kirtz and his team of dedicated athletes continue to prove that hard work, consistency, and the right leadership produce real results both on and off the mat.
Earlier this month, the team traveled to Pennsylvania to compete in the highly competitive Ultimate Club Duals. Facing a deep field of 34 teams, Sean’s group didn’t just compete, they dominated. Through grit, strategy, and composure, they battled their way to the top and emerged as pool champions, a testament to the preparation and discipline they’ve built over time.

This success didn’t happen overnight. These athletes have been training under Sean Kirtz for an extended period, sharpening their technique, building mental toughness,
and learning what it takes to win at high levels. Their recent accomplishments reflect that commitment. The team has already seen standout performances at major events like the NHSCA Nationals, where athletes earned All-American honors, as well as strong showings at Reno Worlds, one of the toughest youth wrestling stages in the country.
But what sets Sean apart isn’t just his ability to develop champions. It’s his understanding of the bigger picture. After their impressive run at Ultimate Club Duals, he made a decision that speaks volumes about his coaching philosophy. Instead of immediately shifting back into grind mode, Sean took the team to Hersheypark.
For Sean, this wasn’t just a reward. It was part of the process.

He understands that peak performance isn’t built on constant pressure alone. Relaxation, bonding, and moments of pure enjoyment play a critical role in an athlete’s mental and physical well-being. By giving his athletes time to unwind, laugh, and celebrate their hard work, he reinforces a culture where discipline and enjoyment go hand in hand.
This balance is exactly why Sean Kirtz’s program continues to thrive. It’s not just about winning matches—it’s about building resilient, well-rounded individuals who can perform under pressure while still enjoying the journey.
And if recent results are any indication, this team is just getting started.
