Swansea Strength & Conditioning has announced the expansion of its nutrition services in Gorseinon, with registered nutritionist Hannah Baugh now offering personalised dietary planning for clients pursuing fitness, strength, and recovery goals.

-- Swansea Strength & Conditioning has expanded its service offering in Gorseinon to include structured nutrition planning, with the facility now providing clients access to a registered nutritionist as part of a more integrated approach to fitness and performance. The expansion reflects a growing shift within strength and conditioning coaching towards models that treat training and nutrition as complementary elements of physical development rather than independent services.

A Swansea Strength & Conditioning spokesperson said the expansion is intended to give clients a more complete approach to health and performance. "Training outcomes are heavily influenced by nutrition, and we've seen increasing demand from clients who want more structured guidance alongside their coaching," the spokesperson said. "The goal is to make sure people are not only training effectively, but also fuelling their bodies in a way that supports their specific objectives."
Nutrition planning services are delivered by Hannah Baugh, an in-house nutritionist who holds a BSc (Hons) in Sports Biomedicine & Nutrition and is registered with the Association for Nutrition. She also holds a PG Cert in Sport and Exercise Nutrition for Health Practitioners, a Level 2 qualification in Care and Management of Diabetes, and a Level 3 Food Safety certification.
Swansea Strength & Conditioning notes that nutrition plays a central role in fitness outcomes, particularly in muscle development, where protein intake, energy balance, and nutrient timing can meaningfully influence recovery and hypertrophy. The company says that clients who receive structured dietary guidance alongside training tend to see more consistent progress toward their goals.
"People often focus heavily on training intensity, but nutrition is what allows the body to adapt and recover," the spokesperson added. "Whether the goal is building strength, improving body composition, or recovering from injury, the right nutritional approach can make a measurable difference in progress and consistency."
Alongside its expanded nutrition offering, Swansea Strength & Conditioning continues to provide group personal training, one-to-one coaching, and injury rehabilitation services. These programmes are delivered by sports scientist and UKSCA-accredited strength and conditioning coach Liam Capener-Jones and the wider coaching team.
Swansea Strength & Conditioning serves communities across the region, including Gorseinon, Mumbles, Gowerton, and Morriston.
