Americas Cardroom added an Aug. 29 Saturday flight to its $15M Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms, expanding Day 2 qualifying chances for NLH and PLO.
-- Americas Cardroom has added a Saturday Bonus Flight to the $15 Million Dual Mystery Bounty Venoms, expanding the final week of its No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments.
The added online poker tournament flight starts Aug. 29 at 12:05 p.m. ET. It is available in the $12 Million guaranteed NLH Venom and the $3 Million guaranteed PLO Venom, each with a $2,650 buy-in.
Players have three remaining chances to reach Day 2: Thursday, Aug. 27; the new Saturday flight; and Sunday, Aug. 30. Each begins at 12:05 p.m. ET.
After six flights, NLH has drawn 2,738 entries and advanced 320 players. PLO has recorded 713 entries and 83 qualifiers. The NLH field’s current distance from its guarantee creates potential big overlay value.
Included in the NLH Day 2 qualifiers so far are Americas Cardroom Pros Ana Marquez, Chris Moneymaker, Chris Moorman, Chance Kornuth and Rob Kuhn.
The Aug. 29 schedule also includes $355,000 in guaranteed Venom Specials. On Day 2, all returning players are in the money and Mystery Bounties become available. Top bounties are $500,000 in NLH and $250,000 in PLO, with every bounty worth at least $5,000.
Players may combine stacks earned in multiple Day 1 flights. Day 2 starts Monday, Aug. 31 at 1:05 p.m. ET, and both final tables are scheduled for Sept. 2 at 4:05 p.m. ET.
