VERAXA Biotech (NASDAQ: VRXA) announced a collaboration with AI-driven bioinformatics company Ardigen S.A. to support development of its BiTAC(R) pipeline of T-cell engagers and future antibody-drug conjugates. The partnership will initially focus on developing AI-enabled tools to identify and prioritize synergistic dual-target combinations for VERAXA’s BiTAC platform, which is designed to improve tumor targeting while reducing off-target toxicity.
VERAXA said integrating artificial intelligence into its research and development strategy could enhance target selection by analyzing large preclinical and clinical datasets, including programs that demonstrated efficacy but failed because of toxicity. The company believes the collaboration will strengthen development of precision oncology therapies and improve long-term drug development success rates.
