Nigerian Australian singer/songwriter Credo equalizes traditional Afro component with universal conventional pop for a sound that is indistinguishable portion intriguing and infectious. Born as Abubakar Sulaiman in Owerri Imo state Nigeria. Credo developed an early interest in music at the age of nine and began Writing, Creating, and Exploring music production at the age of thirteen.
Credo at an early stage in his music career participated in various Nigerian Music Contests and Performances. In 2005, Credo was a Regular Performing Act at the British Council Music and Dance Audition Kano state. He also participated in the Nigerian Idol, MTN Project Fame, and X-Factor Nigeria.
In 2011 Credo collaborated with an Imo state-based artist to release his first debut single, “Chocolate,” The single gained him some recognition within the eastern part of Nigeria specifically Imo state for its gregarious production, captivating vocals, and rhythms.
After releasing “Chocolate”, Credo took a break from music and went into modeling. He modeled for a few years before relocating to Australia. In 2022, Credo returned to the studio to release his official return back single “Ololufe” and has since then been committed to producing captivating music that inspires audiences from all over the world!
