New Zealand Central Bank Maintains Rates At 5.5% But Warns Of More Hikes

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand held the cash rate at today’s meeting. The central bank warned that interest rates could move higher and the New Zealand dollar responded by surging as much as 1% before giving up most of those gains.
