Wichita, KS - August 27, 2025 - Bob Skidmore, owner of Mr. Handyman of the Wichita Metro Area and 1982 University of Central Missouri alumnus, has established the Clifton and Barbara Skidmore Memorial Scholarship Endowment at his alma mater. The scholarship will support UCM students majoring in Agriculture, honoring the memory of Skidmore's parents, who dedicated their lives to farming and community service in Johnson County.
Clifton and Barbara Skidmore were lifelong farmers in the Bristle Ridge community, where they became known for their commitment to helping first-time farmers establish themselves in the agricultural industry. Their legacy of service and mentorship will now continue through educational opportunities for the next generation of agricultural professionals.

Bob Skidmore, who graduated from UCM in 1982, recently visited the university campus with his wife, Jo, to formalize the endowment. The scholarship reflects the family's commitment to education and agricultural advancement, values that were central to how Clifton and Barbara Skidmore approached both life and farming.
