Tianjin launches 6th Haihe International Consumption Season with new promotional video

TIANJIN, China, Sept. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Recently, the 2026 Shopping in China · Tianjin Special Session & Haihe International Consumption Season, hosted by the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce and other authorities, kicked off.

Running through the end of September, the event features ten benchmark activities under the themes of policy-driven support, integrated innovation, quality improvement, night-time economy and service optimization. Under the principle of "one district, one theme", Tianjin's 16 districts will roll out more than 1,000 supporting events.

At the launch ceremony, the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce premiered a brand-new promotional video themed on building an international consumption center city.

Divided into four chapters, namely "an international metropolis, a convergence hub of consumer trends," "innovation engine, upgrade hub for consumer experience," "a dazzling night, a brand-new arena of consumption vitality," and "future is here, jointly march toward a new consumption era," the video gives a full-picture showcase of Tianjin's development foundation, unique resource endowments and urban charm as it builds itself into an international consumption center city.

The Haihe International Consumption Season has been held for five consecutive previous editions. It has grown into a key engine for boosting regional consumption and galvanizing market vitality.
