HONG KONG, August 25, 2026 - (ACN Newswire) - August 24, 2026, VCREDIT Holdings Limited ("VCREDIT" or the "Group"; stock code: 2003.HK), a leading technology-driven consumer financial service provider in China, today announced its unaudited interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026 (the "Period").

The first half of 2026 saw continued softness in consumer credit demand amid macro headwinds, as the industry adapted to new regulatory requirements on financing cost disclosure, online marketing and consumer protection. Against this backdrop, the Group adopted a prudent approach, proactively controlling volume and improving quality, focusing on compliance and advancing steadily while strengthening risk management and enhancing operational efficiency. Throughout the Period, the Group focused on elevating technical standards and concentrating services on higher-quality borrowers, while deepening consumer rights protection in its business processes to support steady, quality-focused business development. During the Period, the Group's total loan origination volume was RMB6.06 billion, of which the Chinese mainland accounted for RMB5.69 billion and Hong Kong accounted for RMB0.37 billion; the Group recorded a net profit of RMB12.0 million and Non-IFRS adjusted net profit of RMB16.9 million.

Focus on High-Quality Customers, Business Structure Continuously Optimised

Facing the challenging environment, the Group strengthened risk control and improved operational efficiency across its operations, gradually shifting its focus toward higher-quality customer segments and more sustainable business models. Leveraging multidimensional risk models, the Group further optimised its customer mix, while enhancing the credit approval and drawdown experience, effectively strengthening the engagement of existing high-quality customers.

In customer operations, the Group refined its approach across three dimensions: acquisition, existing customer management and product experience. On the acquisition front, the Group maintained a disciplined presence across premium platforms while continuously iterating its customer admission models to improve conversion efficiency. For existing customers, the Group deepened engagement with quality borrowers through tailored product solutions and refined segmentation, unlocking greater value from quality customers. Meanwhile, the Group integrated consumer rights protection throughout the product and service lifecycle, and completed the necessary system upgrades to comply with the new regulatory requirements on disclosure of comprehensive financing costs. These combined efforts contributed to improvements in overall marketing efficiency during the Period, with continuous quality enhancement of the transacting user base.

AI Deeply Embedded in Core Operations, International Expansion Steadily Progressing

Technology remains a core strategic pillar underpinning risk management, compliance and operational efficiency. During the Period, the Group continued to deepen the application of AI across its core operating functions. Its AI-powered customer service chatbot, enhanced with large language model capabilities, achieved notable improvements in self-service resolution rate. An intelligent quality inspection mechanism has replaced traditional manual reviews, while AI-driven automation has been introduced into post-loan operations to enhance collection efficiency and customer experience. Furthermore, the Group replicated and localised AI capabilities in its overseas markets, deploying AI customer service, collection and voice solutions locally, initially validating cross-market replicability. In the second half of the year, the Group will further enhance model coordination, data governance and engineering platform capabilities to support scalable, measurable and compliant AI applications.

On the international expansion front, the Group's Hong Kong business, CreFIT, has served over 90,000 customers since its launch in 2023. In April 2026, CreFIT became the first licensed money lender in Hong Kong to partner with TransUnion to offer free downloadable credit reports to customers via its mobile application, with over 5,000 customers having accessed their credit reports through this service. The Group also launched "Capi Go", an AI-powered assistant that further enhances user experience. At the beginning of the year, the Group officially launched its Indonesia business, with a primary focus on building core operational infrastructure and developing foundational technology systems, laying a solid foundation for future expansion and sustainable growth.
