Anand has developed from an ambitious engineer to an engineering leader over the last decade. Anand presently works as a Senior Engineering Leader at Mark43, a public safety software firm. Anand is a startup advisor, volunteer board member, and seasoned IT mentor in addition to his work. He enjoys reading about engineering culture, team dynamics, and technological breakthroughs.
Anand has extensive expertise and a great interest in team leadership, team development, mentoring, and coaching. Product development expertise with a focus on UX and consumers. He has worked in both large corporations and small businesses. Building trust, engineering culture, staff retention, technical roadmap, growth mentality, remaining technical, promoting technical vision, stakeholder management, and release coordination are all areas of focus. He believes in and delivers on the concept of long-term high performance and excellence. Anand has had incredible experiences throughout his working career, and the more complex and demanding the scenario, the more thrilling it is.
Mr. Safi is a well-known engineering leader, tech mentor, and startup advisor for technology and product roadmaps. His duties include engineer development, active code contribution, technical vision advocating, stakeholder management, technical product management, and release coordination. Product development experience and passion, with an emphasis on UX and consumers.
Before embarking on his professional career path, Anand got his master's degree in Computer Sciences from Temple University and obtained a B.E. from Dharmsinh Desai University.
Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Safi has received many awards and accolades. He has also written articles on software engineering & career development, was featured on many blogs and publications, and has appeared as a guest speaker on 20+ podcasts & conferences. To name a few of his other accomplishments, he is a CREA Global Award Recipient, 10x Manager, and Leader of the Year Award Winner 2022. This year, he is being considered for an exclusive interview on TIP radio and will be honored at the annual gala held by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) in December 2023.
